Art Passages was founded in 2004 by Shawn Ghassemi, who has over 15 years of experience dealing in a wide range of Asian art.

From its inception, our focus has been to represent the arts of the Asian cultures with a growing emphasis on the Arts of India, Southeast Asia and those of the Islamic lands. We specialize in Indian Mughal and Rajput miniature paintings and objects. Our other area of concentration is in Persian paintings as well as in Islamic works of art.

We endeavor to present objects and paintings of highest quality and exceptional beauty. Our clients include major Museums in North America and significant private collections from around the world.

We regularly exhibit at the Arts of Pacific Asia show held every year during the first weekend of February in San Francisco and also in March during the Asia week in New York City.
